Biography:

Adriana Dapena received the M.S. and Ph.D. (cumlaude) degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade da Coruña in 1995 and 1999, respectively. During the pursuit of her Ph.D., she was recipient of a Ph.D. scholarship granted by the Galician government. She has been a post-doc in Ohio State University, USA, and a visiting researcher in the Laboratoire des Images et des Signaux, Grenoble, France. Currently, she is Associate Professor and Vicedean of Facultad de Informática of Universidade da Coruña. Her research interests include MIMO systems, blind source separation, array signal processing, space–time processing, and multimedia communications. She has published more than 10 technical papers in journals as well as over 50 papers in conferences and supervised two PhD Thesis. She is IEEE senior member.
