• Industrial Engineer from the University of Leon, Spain, 2006
• PhD in Applied Physics (Outstanding Thesis Award received), from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, 2007
  
• Between 2001 and 2008, researcher of the Radiating Systems Group at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain
• Since 2009, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of A Coruña, Spain
• IEEE Senior Member
• Coauthor of more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences
• Investigator in 27 research projects funded by public organisms and private institutions
• Author of one book on antennas, and co-author of one book on electricity and one on electronics
• Research interests: high-frequency electronics, software development for solving electromagnetic problems, antenna array pattern synthesis and design, and variational problems applied to field theory.
